In late 2010 Elemi was engaged to design a new  building for two existing businesses. The Center MedSPA is a growing health and wellness spa which currently shares space with The Center for Integrative medicine; a holistic primary family medical practice. The project involved programming analysis, pre-design and planning of 20,000 square feet of office and retail spaces. Elemi devoted considerable attention to the analysis of the current operations; their workflow, employee interactions and the opportunity to provide natural daylighting to all spaces. The design solution features a very thin profile floor plate that will allow for maximum daylight to penetrate the interior spaces. Elemi studied exam room layout in detail to offer privacy and maximum efficiency of the spaces. This process was very inclusive of the staff and the executives. The Strauss Company completed construction on the facility in November 2013.
