Elemi Architects was approached in the Fall of 2018 to create an efficient drive-thru coffee shop with the flexibility to be located and re-located anywhere. The project involved programming analysis, pre-design, planning of operations, circulation and inovative storage solutions. The resulting design utilizes composite clad wood framing, metal roofing and cedar shake siding. We maximized the glazing for daylight and operations observation by the customer. Organized storage sits above the service counters to be exposed to the customer while being easily accessible during operations. All utilities and equipment are tucked back above the restroom to be hidden away from site.
