Mike and Cherita Adams commissioned Elemi in the fall of 2006 to assist in the design of their new restaurant on Main Street. Elemi worked closely with Mike and Cherita to establish a seating plan and kitchen layout to fit their overall needs.
The design solution optimized space to create a small, efficient commercial kitchen, and dining area accommodating a 10 seat bar and over 100 seats. The project was fast-tracked through a design / build process with the building owner, Rondon Development.
Blue Orleans opened at Main and Market in spring 2007 and has remained a popular dining establishment.
